Karen Eisenberg has been designing jewelry for nearly twenty five years... She earned her MFA from Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) in Jewelry and Light Metals. She worked as a goldsmith/silversmith in New York City and New Hampshire and taught high school art at Gould Academy Summer School for nine years and Fryeburg Academy for seven years. Inspired by nature, she is currently making silver and beaded jewelry using hand made beads in silver, freshwater pearls, semi precious stones and beach stones. She is married and has an eight year old daughter and a cat. After taking nearly five years out to raise her daughter full time she returned to the bench and has been expanding her business and pursuing her creative passions.
